Auction Rules and Bidding Instructions

1.  The online auction will be open on Monday, March 4th at 8:00am and close on Friday, March 8th at 8:30pm.

2.  In order to participate in the online auction, you must first register.  Navigate to the  Kids Rule The School 2024 Bidding Page  and select Get Started.  

3.  Click the Create Account button.  (Please note:  If you have previously participated in an online auction, your User Name and Password may default in.  If this occurs, click the Login button.  But, please be sure to review and update your contact information and credit card information!)

4.  Enter your email and click the confirm button. (A login confirmation will be sent to your email.)

5.  Check your email and open the message from Greater Giving Login.  Click the link displayed. Please note:  It may take several minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox.

6.  Your web browser will refresh displaying the Account Information page.  Your email address will default in as your User Name.  Create a new Password for this mobile bidding website.  Continue scrolling down the Account Information page and enter your Name, Address, Mobile Phone and Credit Card information.  Click the Create button.

7.  The page will refresh displaying your Name, Last 4 digits of your Credit Card Number, Address and Email on the right side of the page. Verify that the credit card information is correct and click the Start Bidding link on the left.  You should also receive a text message once your registration is complete with the bidding link so you can also bid from your phone. 

8.  The Kids Rule the School packages that are available for auction will display.  Scroll to view all of the packages or click on the Item menu (three lines on the top left corner of your page) to view by Category.

9.  To Bid, select the package you would like to bid on.

* Click Bid to bid the next possible increment

* Select Bid More to select your bid amount or to Set Max Bid.  

Note: Max Bid will enable the system to increase your bid systematically, in increments,  whenever you are outbid, up to your Max Bid amount.

10.  The items you have bid on are listed under the Bids section.  Select the List Icon at the top right of the page, then navigate to Bids >Packages you've bid on.

11.  A You have been outbid! message will appear at the top of the page if you are outbid.  Click on this notification to view what item(s) you are outbid on.

12.  The highest bid at closing will be the winner.  You may check your smart phone to see if you have won an item.  If you are a winner, you will receive an email listing your items won in the days that follow.  

13.  Credit card payments for auction items won, will be processed within three business days from the auction close.  Your receipt for these items will be emailed to you at this time.

14.  All bids and sales are final.  No exchanges or refunds are allowed.  Please note the dates on packages before you bid on them. Refunds will not be given if you cannot make the date. These dates are set and cannot be changed.

15. Neither St. Gabriel School, nor private donors, assume any responsibility for any personal injury or property damage suffered because of any usage of the purchases.

16. The values set forth on these auction items are 'Priceless'.  In this situation, no part of the purchase price would be considered a taxable, charitable contribution.

17. Also, please note that only one child wins per package unless it specifically mentions they may bring a friend. *Only one child (no siblings/friends) per "Teacher/Staff member for the day".*
