When and where is the auction?
Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Nascar Hall of Fame.
What time does the Auction start?
The doors open at 7:00pm. The Silent Auction will close at 9:00pm. The Live Auction will start at approximately 9:00pm followed by dancing until 11:00 pm. Cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be available through the evening.
How much is admission?
Admission is $65.00 per person – purchase online or print the form and send in a check to the office attention Amy Overman. Registration closes Feb 3,2017. Be sure to provide cell phone numbers and credit card numbers when you purchase your tickets to help expedite your check in on auction night.
What is included with the admission fee?
Heavy hors d’oeuvres, 1 drink token per person for beer, wine or a cocktail, a bidder number, and a really good time!
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire. Jackets are required for gentlemen.
How do I get my ticket and auction program?
If you have purchased a ticket, all you need to do is show up. You will not receive a paper ticket.
Can I preview the auction items?
An Auction catalog will come home with your child the week of the auction. If you are interested in previewing the items, please check out the online auction by following the link sent to you on February 7th from St. Gabriel's Catholic School.
How does the auction work?
There are two parts to the auction:
The “Silent Auction”
The Silent Auction will be conducted via electronic bidding on your smart phone or mobile device. So be sure to have it charged when you arrive at the auction. During registration you will be sent a link, which will allow you to log into the auction using your bidder number. From there you will be able to bid all night long. You can bid on items from anywhere and at any time during the event. The device allows you to place maximum bids, view items with no bids, watch favorite items and you will receive instant outbid alerts! Representatives will be available throughout the night for any questions. You will also be able to bid online the week before the event. More details will be sent via email when the online bidding is open.
The “Live Auction”
Following the “Silent Auction”, the Live Auction will begin. At the start of The “Live Auction” you may bid on any item by raising your bidder number (located on both your paddle and the back of your catalog). The order of flow is listed in the auction program.
How do I pay for all the goods & services I purchase?
When you arrive at the Auction, you will first go to the Check-In in the lobby. This is where you will receive your auction packet, drink token and the Trip of a Lifetime Raffle Ticket (if you purchased one). If you have not pre-registered, you will also be asked to swipe your credit card at the check in table for any purchases that you make during the evening.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
To best accommodate our St. Gabriel's families we are proud to announce that items won during the Race for Their Future auction will be distributed the week after the event. Your receipt will be emailed to you and the Auction Committee will distribute items at carpool the following week (you will receive further details and reminders after the auction). For those who do not participate in carpool, the Committee will coordinate convenient delivery of your purchases. Our new method will allow you to enjoy your evening in Uptown without the added challenge and worry of being responsible for your items the night of the event.
Each person will receive 1 drink ticket good for beer, wine or liquor with their registration. Drink tickets are required at the bar. Please purchase your extra drink tickets from the cashiers located near each bar. Credit cards and cash accepted.

What is the “Jaguar Jar”?
The Jaguar Jar is your opportunity to give directly to St. Gabriel PTO. It is the easiest way to make a donation to the school and a great way to support St. Gabriel if you cannot attend the auction. Your donation goes directly to St. Gabriel. Every dollar makes a difference in enhancing the education of our children. All donations are tax deductible and eligible for employee matching. What is the Trip of a Lifetime Raffle Ticket?
You definitely want one of these! They are $100 and only 100 will be sold. The Trip of a Lifetime Raffle winner will be drawn at the beginning of the Live Auction and the lucky winner will pick their dream trip from six fabulous vacation destinations including: Napa Valley, Tuscany, Kentucky Bourbon Trails, St. Lucia, Jackson Hole or New Orleans. Wall of Wine:
We will once again have a multi-case collection of a variety of fine wines and it could be all yours! Tickets will be sold at the auction using your bidder number from 7:00 – 8:45 pm. One ticket will be $25 or five for $100. There is no limit to the number of tickets that you may purchase.
The Wall of Wine Raffle winner will be announced during the Live Auction, you must be present at auction to purchase a raffle ticket.
